We're always working to improve the service and get most of our development priorities from our users. We've had several discussions in our forums about a cloud or text based version of Me.dium as well as allowing the user to size and position the sidebar. We're working on prioritizing these ideas and will have updates soon. In the meantime, I've found that using the Multi-sidebar Firefox Add-on makes life a little easier - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4534.
