Welcome, the new year, and welcome to DisruptiveTech.

At DisruptiveTech, I will write about my interests and passions which include new technologies specifically in servers and data networking, entrepreneurship, and new venture creation.

I have been dragging my feet when it comes to starting a new “blog” but I have decided this will make it easier for me to disseminate information I find interesting, useful, and important to others. I will spend the next month or so covering topics on technologies that I have been using for a while now and have been recommending to others.

Hopefully you will find these pages useful as a means for learning about new technologies and ideas, ones, that in my mind I feel have the ability to create disruptive change in the technology industry. I tend to get excited about technologies that promise new/easier ways of doing things, new and better feature sets, reduced costs of ownership, and especially ones that challenge the “enterprise” way of doing things.

I appreciate any comments you may have and always welcome inquiries and leads to new technologies.
